Italian Bruschetta (serving 4)
- 3 large vine tomato (or 10-15 baby plum)
- 1 garlic clove
- 3 leaves basil
- 8 slices of baguette bread ( thickly sliced)
- Olive oil, salt and pepper
- Black pepper
Preparation
- Place the sliced bread in the oven and grill for 4 minutes (or until golden and crispy)
- Rub the garlic clove on each slice of bread
- Cut and dice the tomatoes, place in a bowl, add black pepper, chopped basil, 2 tbsps of olive oil and salt to taste.
- Put 1 tbsp of the prepared tomato on each slice of bread and place in the oven for 3 minutes.
- Serve warm or cold and enjoy!
